Meet Your Educators

Knowledge is power, and with that power comes confidence and peace in being able to make decisions that feel good to you and what best fit YOUR pregnancy, labor and postpartum. I believe that a birth experience should be as special and unique as each one of my clients is. It's my mission that you are thoroughly educated and supported to birth YOUR way without fear or prejudice... to trust your intuition, realize your strength, determination, and beauty.
Most would say I’m an extroverted introvert, and a bit of a day-dreamer with a love for nature, days at the lake, music, devotions, good conversation and iced coffee. When I'm not teaching a class or supporting a birth, my hands and heart are full with my three kiddos, dog and husband.

As a Lamaze Childbirth Educator, a Lactation Counselor, and a DONA certified Doula my heart is to provide you with compassionate, inclusive, and evidence based education that in turn causes you to trust your intuition and birth in a manner that is fit entirely for you–whether that is an unmedicated home birth or a scheduled cesarean birth. Birth is birth, and it is truly remarkable.
I am a bit of an extrovert and gain so much energy being around others and in the community. To recharge, I take solace in cooking and singing in the kitchen, and long walks in the woods. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and have a deep love for the outdoors and our pup Oakley. I graduated from Northern Michigan University and Marquette is still my second home. I have worked in a variety of counseling positions, in foster care, and serving families that have kiddos with autism. My passion for family unity has remained the same and one of my favorite parts about teaching is empowering partners to support each other throughout, pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
