Frequently Asked Questions
Do I bring my Significant Other to this Class?
YES! We structure this class for your support person as well. We include a lot of information and education on how they can advocate, and physically and mentally support you through birth. We have great partner activities that foster deeper conversations and connection.
Are there breaks during class?
You can take as many or as little breaks as your body needs. We have designated bathroom and food breaks! Due to our laid back and cozy environment we encourage you to do whatever you need whenever you need to do it!
How many People are in this class?
Our space comfortably fits 5-6 couples, 10-12 people. This number allows for us to have meaningful group conversation and a comfortable environment to ask questions and maybe even build lasting relationships.
Can I pay with my HSA account?
Yes! You can easily pay with your HSA dollars after the initial invoice is sent to your email.
How is this different from a hospital course?
The Lamaze method of teaching focuses on birth as a natural life event that can take place within or outside of a hospital. Our focus is on natural pain management techniques and how to work with your body instead of against it throughout birth, how to best advocate for yourself, informed consent, and more.
What should I bring?
We supply most of the materials needed throughout the class. You can bring your own yoga mat, birth ball, and snacks as well as a cozy outfit you can easily move around in. Our location is prime for walking across or down the street for lunch.
